Job Summary
Responsible for the interpretation, communication and organization of the status of various executive communications and regulations received by the U.S. House of Representatives. Able to organize and create appropriate official notifications and listings (including electronic formats) of such executive communications. Works in a small work station in an office environment without an expectation of privacy where noise levels are moderate.
Requirements:
Temperament to communicate with a variety of personalities in a tactful, pleasant manner. Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the fulfillment of responsibilities performed within the Executive Communications area. Ability to demonstrate superior organizational and administrative skills. Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to accurately research and deliver information within a limited time frame. Must possess a high degree of communication and applicable personal computer skills. Works directly with various Congressional offices and the Government Printing Office. Thorough proven knowledge of the House legislative process is required. College degree preferred. A National Security Clearance is required for this position. This position is identified as a Test Designated Position and is subject to random drug testing.
