Job Summary

The Office of Finance and Procurement, Chief Administrative Office, is seeking a System Implementation Program Manager responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the multiple financial and business systems, such as the Administrative Tools Links and Solutions (PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning - ERP) and Paylinks (Lawson-based payroll system), and future integrated ERP solutions.  The incumbent will be directly responsible for delivering solutions that will provide real-time customer access anywhere, anytime, create a compelling place to work, and ensure customer-focused operational excellence.  This position is needed to ensure Atlas, Paylinks and future enterprise applications are properly developed and defined for successful deployment of state-of-the-art customer solutions. Additionally, a single individual with day-to-day management oversight over the implementation of enterprise-wide business solutions will be able effectively transfuse best practices approaches into multiple projects and ensure cost, schedule, and performance objectives are leveraged, coordinated, and meet desired goals.

Requirements:

Candidates should have a minimum seven to 10 years experience in program management, including supervision and delegation responsibilities of other project managers.  Must have a bachelor’s degree in business or financially related field.  Masters degree preferred.  Additionally, the candidate must have experience utilizing the principles and guidelines of the Project Management Institute (PMI ®). Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification is preferred for this position.
