(Washington, D.C.) WASHINGTON, D.C. - United States Senators Blanche
Lincoln and Mark Pryor, and Representatives Marion Berry (AR-01), John
Boozman (AR-03), Mike Ross (AR-04), and Vic Snyder (AR-02) announced today
that the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will receive
$4,055,089 in continued funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation
for bus and bus-related allocations.
The projects in this grant will be funded through a remaining FY 2004
statewide earmark for Arkansas. The funds will be used by several
subrecipients of the Highway Department for the purchase of additional
vehicles and for statewide bus-related facilities. |
