I ask all Arkansans to join me in remembering not only our forefathers who formed this great nation, but also our men and women in uniform who have been called to duty and are serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, and in many other countries across the globe. Our thoughts and prayers will be with these brave Americans as they serve to protect our freedoms, and to fight for the freedoms of others. 

I hope you will not only give thanks for the blessing in your lives, but also reach out to a neighbor or fellow citizen in need, for that is the true spirit of giving.
