As the United States continues to wage the war against terrorism, all Americans should begin a process of learning about potential security threats to our nation and preparing to respond to a potential attack. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the White House Office of Homeland Security provide the latest information on security threats and advisories.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security also provides information at Ready.gov on emergency preparedness, such as storing a food and water supply, assembling emergency medical kits and developing family communications and evacuation plans.
