The
Illinois Unemployment Rate
Chicago
(11/16) – The seasonally adjusted Illinois unemployment
rate in October was 4.1%, tying the state’s lowest
level on record, reported once before in March 1999. October’s
rate is down 0.3% from September and remains below the national
rate for the fourth time this year, which is the first time
this has occurred since 1998, according to data released
today by the U.S. Dept. of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics,
and IDES. >>
