Hoyer Statement on Rep. Jim Clyburn’s Election as House Democratic Caucus Chair

WASHINGTON, DC – House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today regarding the election of Representative Jim Clyburn (SC) as the Chair of the House Democratic Caucus:

“I have known my good friend Jim Clyburn for over forty years.  Mr. Clyburn will be an extraordinary Chairman.  He is a well-respected and thoughtful Member of the House.
