Rep. Gerlach meets with Montgomery County students (March 10)
WASHINGTON -- Four Pottstown area students recently won a $25,000 Christopher Columbus Foundation Community Grant for work they did developing a scanner system that flags products containing any of eight different allergens that go by up to 72 different names depending on the manufacturer. The students, standing here with Rep. Gerlach following a visit to his Washington DC office, hope to turn their scanner system into a real product with the grant.
