“The Republican Party does not have a record to run on, so it can only attempt to distract, distort and deceive.  The American people are not going to fall for those tactics.

"The increasingly desperate rhetoric being used by President Bush and Congressional Republicans just one week before next Tuesday’s mid-term election cannot obscure the fact that their Party’s record is one of incompetence, ineffectiveness and failure.
