Immigration Reform Update

On December 16, 2005, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 4437, the Border Protection, Antiterrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act of 2005, with my strong support.  This important piece of legislation addresses the urgent need to secure our borders and stop the flow of illegal immigrants into our country.  At this time, the Senate is crafting separate legislation on this issue.  Once the Senate passes its border security legislation, members from both chambers will meet to resolve any differences between the two bills.
