Congressman Randy Neugebauer's Middle East Journals

Since September 11, 2001, the United States has been actively engaged in fighting the War on Terror. To win this war, our military is taking the fight to the enemy across the globe in places such as Afghanistan and Iraq. As a United States Congressman, it is important that I have a full understanding of the progress being made and the conditions on the ground in order to ensure that our troops have the equipment needed to get the job done. So I have made two trips to this important region, and on each trip, I have kept a journal detailing the people I met and the places I visited.
