Congressman David Scott joins Senators Saxby Chambliss and Johnny Isakson; Governor Sonny Perdue (obscured); East Point Mayor Patsy Jo Hilliard; Mayor Shirley Franklin; and other local officials outside Fort McPherson after the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure list is announced. Atlanta's Fort McPherson and Fort Gillem were included on the list of military bases to be closed by the Pentagon.
