As America’s seniors are trying to navigate the complicated and confusing Medicare Prescription Drug law, Democrats are insisting that Congress not adjourn for the year without enacting legislation that would extend the deadline for enrolling in a drug plan. Democrats offered a discharge petition this week to force Republicans to vote on a bill that would provide a six-month extension for enrollment.
