Where can I find the text of ballot measures or initiatives? The Secretary of State's web site includes the text of all the statewide initiatives since March 1996 and the text of initiatives that are currently going through the process to be put on the ballot. The Law Library for the University of California Hastings College of the Law has developed a searchable database on California ballot propositions from 1911 to the present.
