REID STATEMENT ON THE RESIGNATION OF TRANSPORTATION SECRETARY NORMAN MINETA

Washington, DCSenate Democratic Leader Harry Reid today issued the following statement on the resignation of Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta:

“I have known Secretary Mineta for 25 years, had the pleasure of serving alongside him, and send him my best wishes on his resignation. Norman Mineta is a dedicated public servant. He has had a long and successful term as Secretary of Transportation, and I wish him all the best in his future pursuits.”
