Reid Calls on Budget Conferees to Protect Medicaid

Senate Democratic Leader released the following statement today to protect Medicaid:

"Today's action by Republican House members makes it clear that a majority of the House and Senate strongly reject the President's misguided proposal to cut Medicaid. For the sake of the more than 50 million children, pregnant women, seniors, and people with disabilities who are at risk for losing health care coverage if Medicaid is cut, let's hope the Republican leadership and Republican budget conferees get the message."
