November 29, 2004 Reid Wins $2 Million To Boost Nevada EconomyWashington, D.C. – Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) has secured $2 million in the federal budget for projects that will boost the Nevada economy and create new jobs across the state. The funding is part of the Omnibus Appropriations Conference Report. “This money will help Nevadans learn the skills they need to get jobs, advance their careers, and support their families,” said Reid. “It will provide resources that improve our communities, and promote tourism in downtown Las Vegas.
