Pryce: Kerry Should Apologize to our Men and Women in Uniform
|
WASHINGTON November 1
House Republican Conference Chairman Deborah Pryce (R-Ohio) today released the following statement on Senator John Kerry’s recent remarks:
“Rather than launch more partisan attacks, John Kerry needs to do the right thing and simply apologize to the brave men and women in our military for his comments. Our military is home to the most brave, most hard working, and most intelligent individuals that America has to offer. They make us all proud. John Kerry needs to heed the calls of leading veterans’ organizations and Senator John McCain and apologize to our troops.”
At a campaign event on Monday, Senator Kerry said, “You know, education. If you make the most of it, you study hard, you make an effort to be smart--You can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”
