Veterans

If you are a veteran, and have encountered a problem with your disability compensation, pension, vocational rehabilitation, education, burial or survivor benefits or with the Veterans Healthcare Administration, we may be able to assist you. Please know that before we are able to help, you will need to send us a letter detailing your concerns, along with a signed privacy release, and I will be glad to look into your case with these federal agencies.

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

We can assist you if you need information regarding federal veterans' benefits, are interested in applying for benefits or if you are experiencing difficulty in receipt of current benefits.

A good place to find information on benefits and forms is the website for the U.S. Department of Veterans' Affairs. On that website, you can also apply online through the Veterans Online Application program.

You can also reach the VA by phone at: 1-800-827-1000.

Healthcare

In regards to healthcare, please call us if you are having difficulty determining your eligibility to receive care at a VA hospital or clinic, are experiencing problems with your bill, need to locate VHA facilities, or need application forms.

You can also reach VHA by phone at: 503-220-8262. The direct line to the Patient Advocates office is: 503-273-5308. They can also assist you with any questions or problems you may have.
