November 2 - Wamp Says Candidates Should Sign Off on National Party Ads
Rep. Zach Wamp intends to offer legislation in January that would require candidates to sign off on political advertisements run on their behalf by national party committees. “If you’re in one of these highly targeted seats like Tennessee, you get to see the underbelly of our campaign system,” said the Tennessee Republican, who has watched the national party committees attack Democratic Rep. Harold E. Ford Jr., and former Chattanooga Mayor Bob Corker.
