I am the Ranking Democrat on the House Small Business Committee, which works with the Small Business Administration (SBA) to aid America's entrepreneurs and small companies. As a senior Democrat on the House Financial Services Committee, I have worked on initiatives to expand financial services to historically underserved communities while expanding the capabilities of banks and other financial institutions.

I have sponsored and co-sponsored a variety of legislation on such topics as small business, financial services, education, environmental justice, health care, affordable housing, and crime prevention. Click here to read press releases on these topics and others.
