Budget and Tax Relief

By all accounts, most people agree that federal spending has been out of control for many years and the deficit continues to grow daily. If we don't do something soon to restrain spending, our children, grandchildren and future generations will be burdened with ever increasing debts. Federal budget deficits are derived from and are driven by spending. Tax cuts are not the culprit behind deficits. In fact, if the President’s tax cuts had not been enacted, the economic recovery of the past few years would not have occurred. Tax cuts stimulate the economy. Holding spending growth to the rate of inflation or below is common sense and restraining spending will lower the deficit. We must hold the line on spending.
