Upton Statement on Foley Investigation
Upton appalled at Foley's conduct

WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman Fred Upton (R-St. Joseph) made the following statement regarding the investigation of former Rep. Mark Foley.

"As a father of two teenagers, I am disgusted by the recent revelations surrounding my former colleague Mark Foley.  There are no words that can adequately describe just how despicable Foley's conduct was.  I strongly supported a resolution that passed the House last Friday night calling for a complete and thorough investigation by the House Ethics Committee - it is critical that we find out who knew what and when.  We must let the chips fall where they may - if anything has been covered up then those responsible must suffer the consequences."
