    • Arlington National Cemetery - Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier every hour on the hour & every half hour during the summer months. Phone:(703) 692-0931 Metro: Arlington Cemetery.

    • Bureau of Engraving and Printing - 14th & C Streets, SW. Provides public tours Monday through Friday continually from 9:00 a.m until 2:00 p.m., leaving every 15 minutes. Congressional reserved tours can be scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Requests must be made at least two weeks in advance. You should enter at the Visitor Entrance on 14th Street.     • The United States Capitol Building - The Capitol Guide Service conducts free-guided tours of the Capitol Monday through Saturday throughout the year. You also have the option of scheduling staff-led tours directly through our office. For groups of 15 or more, we ask that you please call months in advance. Gallery passes to view the House floor may be obtained through our office as well. Please call 202-225-6827 for the latest recorded information on visiting the Capitol.     • The Library of Congress - First Street SE between Independence Avenue and East Capitol Street. There are guided tours daily, Monday through Saturday. All tours start in the Visitors' Center in the Jefferson Building. Telephone: (202) 707-8000. Metro stop: Capitol South or Union Station.

    • The National Archives - 7th & Constitution Avenue, NW. Telephone: 1-866-272-6272. Metro stop: Archives/Navy Memorial.

    • The Pentagon - Across the 14th Street Bridge in Virginia (I-395). Telephone: (703) 697-1776. Metro: Pentagon.

    • The Department of State - 2201 C Street, NW. Tours may be arranged by contacting the Department of State Tour Office on 202-647-3241 or fax (202) 647-4232. Metro stop: Foggy Bottom/GWU.

    • The Supreme Court - First Street & Maryland Avenue, NE. Open Monday through Friday except on Federal holidays. Tours & public lectures are conducted in the courtroom from 9:00am to 4:30pm every hour on the half hour, except when court is in session. No tours are given during August. Public lectures are conducted in the courtroom from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. when the Court is not in session. Telephone: (202) 479-3211. Metro: Capitol South or Union Station.

    • The White House - 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. White House tours must be scheduled through your U.S. Representative or Senator and are offered Tuesday through Saturday. Tours are conducted from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tours must be requested one to six months in advance. During the spring and summer months, it is recommended that you call several months in advance to schedule a tour. Tours are offered on a first come, first served basis. Constituents are also encouraged to stop by the White House Visitor Center located at the southeast corner of 15th and E Streets. The Center is open seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and features many aspects of the White House, including its architecture, furnishings, first families, social events, and relations with the press and world leaders, as well as a thirty-minute video.
