Order Flags Flown Over the U.S. Capitol Building

U.S. Flag waving

Order a flag now

My office can arrange for an American flag to be flown over the United States Capitol for any constituent who wishes to purchase one. Flags can be requested to be flown in recognition of any special occasion or event. Requests must be received at least three weeks prior to the desired flying date. Payment must be submitted at the time the request is made.

Due to the increased demand for U.S. flags following September 11, 2001, the Capitol Building Flag Office takes at least five weeks to return flags to Congressional offices following the dates the flags are flown. We will make every effort to deliver your flags as quickly as possible, but please know that it will take a minimum of six weeks after the date your flag is flown. Thank you in advance for your patience.

Please call my Flags Coordinator, Richard Bradbury (phone 202-225-8020, fax 202-225-5915), to order flags flown over the U.S. Capitol Building. You may also fill out a form to request flags. We are only able to accept check or money order for flag payment.
