Transportation
A well-maintained system of transportation is important to every community's
quality of life and economic development.
A priority is to ensure Tennesseans have convenient access to safe, secure,
efficient and well-maintained ground, rail and air travel.
While many of Tennessee's roads are managed at the state or local level, I am
often involved in helping coordinate these transportation issues. I have
also been active to ensure Tennessee's small airports maintain federal funding
to further their goals of offering Tennesseans choices in transportation.
