Wyden Receives Award For Being 'Champion of Science'

award for his efforts to accelerate
nanotechnology research in Oregon through
his legislation, “The 21st Century
Nanotechnology Research

Act.”
He was also praised for helping to
increase funding for The National Science

Foundation and for
recognizing and working
to
break down barriers for women studying
and
working in math, science and engineering.
