Canyon City, OR -- In July, Ron held a Grant County town hall meeting in the Guernsey Building in Canyon City. He met with some aspiring local students who took active roles in seeking out a chance to meet with the Senator. One student, Kyle Pettyjohn, was invited to the town hall meeting after writing to Ron with a request to visit his school. Cody Nielson and Reilly Cosgrove, two interns from a local paper, The Blue Mountain Eagle, attended the town hall with their editor, Scott Mallory. This fall Cody and Reilly will both attend Eastern Oregon University in La Grande. Reilly will study English and Cody will study Journalism.
