Washington, DC– Ron met with the American Ambulance Associations 'Oregon Stars of Life' award recipeints. The "Star of Life" is an honorary title that the American Ambulance Association bestows on about 100 outstanding emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics across the United States each year. The winners are chosen based on their heroic acts or community service efforts.

This year the 'Oregon Stars of Life' are Jeninifer Reynolds (Warrenton), Brett Gnau (Newport), Taryn Raschein (Hillsboro), Susan Norman (Hillsboro), Frank Wallander (Hillsboro), Jason Glusser (Hillsboro), Dan Sanchez (Hillsboro), David Staab (Milwaukie).
