STARK TO HOLD TOWN MEETINGS
On Saturday, July 22, 2006
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Pete Stark (D-CA) plans to speak with residents of the 13th Congressional District at town meetings on Saturday, July 22nd in Fremont, Hayward, and Alameda.
The three town meetings will allow constituents to ask questions about important national issues. Given recent news, likely topics include the need for an energy policy that reduces America’s dependence on foreign oil, the prospects for federal funding for stem cell research, and the escalating conflict in the Middle East.
