Thank you for your interest in obtaining an internship in my Washington, DC office or one of my state offices in SC.  Internships are an invaluable experience for those undergraduate students who are interested in public service and the legislative process.  An internship provides students with a unique opportunity to see the inside workings of our democracy and to develop future professional skills. 


DC Office


My DC office offers internships during the Spring and Fall semesters as well as two summer sessions that last four weeks.  Internships are open to qualified undergraduate students who have an interest in the workings of our government and possess a strong academic background.  I encourage you to consider an internship in Washington and look forward to receiving your completed application.  Completed applications can be faxed to (202) 228-5143 or mailed to:
