ARDMORE, Jun 1 -  During his visit to Ardmore this week, Israeli Ambassador to the United States Daniel Ayalon called on the United Nations to compel Iran to stop enriching uranium, a necessary step in the production of nuclear weapons.

"With a nuclear bomb, they will think they are invincible," Alyalon said as he spoke to a crowd of more than 100 people inside Lower Merion High School Tuesday night.

The ambassador was accompanied to the public meeting by Congressmen Jim Gerlach (R-6).

Citing common interest and goals in winning the war against terrorists and radical regimes, Gerlach highlighted the strong ties between the two countries.

"The United States has no greater friend in the world than Israel," said Gerlach.
