As a member of the U. S. House of Representatives, I am pleased to look after Montana's interests by serving on the Committee on Appropriations and three of its subcommittees:

Energy and Water Development – with budget authority for the Department of Energy, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Bureau of Reclamation, and the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

Military Quality of Life – with budget authority on programs involving Veterans Affairs, National Guard, and military facilities, housing, and health programs.

Foreign Operations, Export Financing and Related Programs  with budget authority for the State Department and Agency for International Development, as well as U.S. international assistance and the Foreign Military Finance Program.
