This section of the website is devoted to students and education.  Here you can find out more about our home district, learn about Our Nation's Capitol, or further your career and academic experience by applying to be a House Page, congressional intern, or cadet at one of our nation's service academies.  Or perhaps you'd just like to ask Jim a question; from here you can email him or write him a letter.

Appointment to any of the four U.S. Service Academies - Air Force, Naval, Merchant Marine, or Military - begins with a nomination from one's Member of Congress.

Congressional internships are a great way for Third District college students to learn about their government and experience the legislative process first hand!

Jim appreciates hearing from all his constituents.  Here you'll find information on the numerous ways to contact him.
