  • The Medicare drug benefit is voluntary.
  • You pay an annual $250 deductible and a monthly premium averaging $30 – premiums for some plans are less that $20 per month.
  • Medicare pays for 75% of your drug costs up to $2,250.
  • Medicare pays for 95% of your out-of –pocket drug costs over $3,600.
  • Extra assistance is available for seniors with limited incomes and resources.
  • Benefit compliments PACE program.
