A House of Representatives computer system uses software programs to create summary statistics using this information. These statistics are then used to assess the number of visits to the different sections of a House of Representatives site, which information is most and least interesting to visitors, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas. Rep. Petri receives a copy of the statistical summary report generated from this data that describes the number of visits to his website.
