Congressman Jim Gerlach issued the following statement today after the House of Representatives passed H.Res. 921, a resolution affirming the nation’s support of Israel and condemning terrorist groups Hezbollah and Hamas for their recent actions.
“The United States has no greater ally in the world than Israel and the House today reaffirmed its support for our friends. It’s unimaginable that our friends are once again forced to defend themselves against terrorists. We must continue to support Israel in their time of need, as they fight to protect their freedoms and defend democracy. Hamas and Hezbollah are terrorist organizations and should be dealt with accordingly.”
