Congressman Jim Gerlach released the following statement today shortly after a series of deadly explosions on busy rush-hour commuter trains in Mumbai, India that claimed the lives of at least 135 people and injured more than 300 others

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of the victims of today’s horrific bomb blasts in India. This is tragedy of monumental proportions and the perpetrators of this horrendous crime must be brought to justice. Terrorism must never be tolerated or allowed to prosper here at home or throughout the world.”
