Contacting Congressman Murtha at His Offices
Field offices have been established across the sprawling 12th Congressional District. However, because of the small number of staff, long travel times and the need to have staff at various meetings and events, people should not just drop by any of our offices except the main office in Johnstown. The main office is at:
647 Main Street Suite 401 Johnstown, PA 15901
(This is NOT our Postal mailing address -- see that below.)
ALL MAIL should be sent to:
PO Box 780
Johnstown, PA 15907-0780
Before visiting a field office, call the toll-free number
800-289-2642
for assistance. If you have scheduled business at a field office, here are the addresses and telephone numbers (DO NOT send mail to these addresses):

DO NOT SEND MAIL to the Washington office or any field office unless specifically directed to do so. Mail deliveries to Congressional offices in Washington are screened for protection from biological or other potentially hazardous substances, which delays delivery by several weeks. Because the Congressional District is spread out over parts of nine counties, field offices are not continually staffed, so delays of at least a few days and sometimes up to a few weeks occur when mail is sent to field offices.
