Can Congressman Miller assist with a legal/judicial matter?
As Congressman Miller is an elected representative within the Legislative branch of government, he has no authority over the judicial branch of government. He and his office may only assist with federal legislative matters or with federal government agencies. Legal/judicial matters require the assistance of legal counsel. If you feel you need the assistance of an attorney, you may find assistance through the Florida Bar Association.

Can Congressman Miller assist with an issue I am having with the State of Florida, County or the City?
As a federal representative, Congressman Miller only has authority over federal agencies and legislation. If you are experiencing difficulties with a state, county, or city matter you would need to contact your elected representative for that municipality. If you are not sure who your representative is, you may find that information at www.governmentguide.com or through your local supervisor of elections.

Can I get tickets to the White House through Congressman Miller’s Office?
Since September 11th 2001, increased security has reduced the number of tours of the White House.

Tours of the White House can now be scheduled through Congressional offices. These self-guided tours are scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Requests can be submitted one to six months in advance for groups of 10 or more. Offices are notified approximately one month in advance whether the White House is able to schedule the requested tour.

During the peak season, it is possible to combine groups in order to meet the 10-person requirement.

Individual tours are available on a limited basis.

For the most up-to-date information, call the 24-hour Visitors Office Info Line at 202-456-7041 or call my office at 202-225-4136.

Visitors are encouraged to stop by the White House Visitor Center (1450 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW). The center is open seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and features many aspects of the White House, including its architecture, furnishings, first families, social events, relations with the press and world leaders, as well as a thirty-minute video. Allow between 20 minutes to 1 1/2 hours to explore the exhibits. The White House Historical Association also sponsors a sales area. Please note that restrooms are available, but food service is not.
