  • Rep. Kelly secured $220,000 for Putnam Hospital Center to expand its emergency room. (107th Congress)
  • Rep. Kelly secured $500,000 for the Westchester-Putnam Counties Consortium for Worker Education and Training to provide expanded job training services to jobless individuals seeking employment in the construction trades. (107th Congress)
  • Rep. Kelly secured $318,500 for Westchester/Putnam Legal Services to help provide services for women who suffer from domestic violence. (106th Congress) 
  • Rep. Kelly secured $37,100 for Haldane Elementary School to expand computer literacy by providing computers, printers, scanners, digital cameras, software and training services. (106th Congress)
  • Rep. Kelly helped secure $750,000 for the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department to assign six full-time deputy sheriffs in Putnam County schools as part of the COPS in Schools program. (106th -107th Congress)
  • Rep. Kelly intervened to prevent the National Park Service from declaring eminent domain and seizing 20 acres of land from the Franciscan Friars at Graymoor in Garrison. An agreement was reached that compensated the friars and established easement boundaries while also preserving the nearby Appalachian Trail. (107th Congress)
  • Rep. Kelly fought to secure $2.89 million for Putnam County to improve Stoneleigh Ave., the major road leading to Putnam Hospital Center. (105th Congress)
  • Rep. Kelly secured $240,000 for Putnam County to help construct new senior citizen residences in Putnam Valley. (107th Congress)
  • Rep. Kelly secured $225,000 for Putnam County to improve and enhance Gleneida Avenue in downtown Carmel. (108th Congress)
