Democratic Caucus Unanimously Approves New Committee Assignments

Washington, D.C. – House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi announced today that the Democratic Caucus has approved new committee assignments for the seats vacated by Bob Menendez (D-NJ) by his move to the Senate.

The Democratic Caucus approved the following appointments:

  • Committee on Veterans Affairs – Congressman John T. Salazar (CO-3)

  • Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure – Congressman John Barrow (GA-12)

  • Committee on International Relations – Congressman Russ Carnahan (MO-3)

“I look forward to the contributions and insight of our talented Members on their new committees as House Democrats continue to put forth real plans that focus on the priorities of the American people, not the special interests,” Pelosi said.
