Flying a flag over the United States Capitol is a wonderful way to remember a special event in someone's life or to commemorate exceptional service to a group or organization. To honor these significant achievements or special events, constituents can request that a United States flag be flown over the nation's Capitol.

Flag sizes and prices are as follows:

Prices are at cost, including a mailing charge. Since all flag request forms must be accompanied by a check or money order, we are unable to accept electronic flag requests through this web page.

Due to the volume of flag requests, orders usually take at least six to eight weeks. The waiting time may be longer during periods of extremely high demand.
