Artistic Discovery:  Artistic Discovery is the annual Congressional High School Art Competition that awards students art work from congressional districts across the country. This is the sixth year Representative Green has hosted the Artistic Discovery competition.

     First Place:  Sarah Day - De Pere High School
              - "Water Lily"
              - Artwork will hang in U.S. Capitol

     Second Place:  Davide Toffolon - Notre Dame Academy
              - “The Tree”
              - Artwork will be displayed in Congressman Green's Washington, D.C. Office
 
    
Third Place:  Kerri Matheys - Pulaski High School
              - "Venice"
              - Artwork will be displayed in Congressman Green's Green Bay District Office

Qualifications/Specifications:  The competition is open to all high school students in the Eighth District of Wisconsin.  The art work could be a painting, drawing, collage, a print, mixed media, computer generated art or a photograph.  All artwork must be two dimensional and no larger than 32 inches by 32 inches.

Where/When:  The 2006 competition will be held at the Neville Public Museum in Green Bay, running from May 6th to June 4th.  All artwork must be turned in at Rep. Green's Green Bay District Office, located at 700 East Walnut Street.
