Need Help with the Federal Bureaucracy
As your congressman, one of my most important duties is helping 8th District residents when they have problems with a federal government agency. Getting in touch with the right person at an agency can be frustrating and time-consuming. If you need help determining if your problem involves, a local, state or federal agency; or if you need help to get your Social Security check, have questions about your military records, Medicare coverage, VA claims, a problem with the IRS, or any other federal agency, please do not hesitate to contact my District office. While I cannot order a federal agency to decide a matter in your favor, I can ensure that you are treated fairly.

Federal law requires that we obtain your written permission before we can contact anyone on your behalf. This law is for your protection.

Please explain in detail the problem you have with a federal agency and provide any supporting documentation. Also provide your home address, daytime telephone number and Social Security number. Please download the General Casework Release form provided here, to fill out and mail to our District Office.
