Congressman Lathams Traveling Help
Desk provides an opportunity for any constituent to meet in, or
near, their hometown one-on-one with a member of his
Congressional
staff
to help cut government red tape or to voice questions,
comments, and concerns. The Congressmans staff can answer
questions for, or offer help to, individuals who have problems with
Social Security or veterans benefits, who want to ask for help
getting into the U.S. Military Academies, who want to discuss
problems with farm programs, the Internal Revenue Service or any
other federal agency. Lathams staff will also be available to pass
along Iowans opinions about issues of national concern to
Congressman. No appointment is necessary for the outreach that travels each month to every county of the Fourth Congressional District. Anyone needing further information regarding the Help Desk, and those needing special assistance, should contact Congressman Latham's Ames Office at 515-232-2885. (You may also want to view the schedule of Congressman Latham's Action For Iowa Community Town Meetings.) |
