RSC Résumé Binder Instructions and Questionnaire

The House Republican Study Committee (RSC) maintains a résumé binder as a courtesy for the use of its Member-offices. Note that the RSC is the caucus of House conservatives. If you are not a conservative Republican and/or do not want to work for a House conservative, please do not submit your résumé. Since the RSC is a legislative caucus and not a job placement service, we will not accept mass submissions of résumés; each individual applicant must submit his or her own résumé.

To be included in the Résumé Binder you MUST:
1. Complete the following one-page questionnaire.
* Leaving an answer blank or typing "answers will only be provided in a job interview" may prohibit your résumé from being included in the binder.
* Check no more than two categories of positions that you are seeking.

2. Include a copy of your résumé preferably in Microsoft Word (you will be prompted to attach your résumé after completing the questionnaire).

Résumés and questionnaires can NOT be mailed, faxed, or hand-delivered. résumés are only accepted through our website. If your résumé and questionnaire are included in the RSC Résumé Binder, they will become available to all RSC offices and to other individuals and offices, as deemed appropriate by RSC staff. At the beginning of every month, all résumés and questionnaires that have been in the Binder for more than three months will be removed without notice to you (though we may retain the electronic copies beyond three months). However, you are certainly welcome to resubmit your résumés and questionnaires either before or after such removal.

Please note that the RSC Résumé Binder is a courtesy service for RSC Members. Therefore, the RSC reserves the right to refuse any résumé submission for any reason. If you have questions, please e-mail RSC@mail.house.gov.
