Knollenberg statement on former Congressman Mark Foley

Bloomfield Hills, MI – Congressman Joe Knollenberg (R/MI-09) has issued the following statement on the situation surrounding the actions of former Congressman Mark Foley:

"I am shocked and repulsed at the actions of former Congressman Foley. I support the investigations now taking place, and I believe that the full weight of the law should fall on Mr. Foley and anyone who was aware of the existence of these vile “instant messages” but did not contact the authorities."
