FL Democrats Call for Sunshine in Coastal Drilling Negotiations

Letter calls on delegation to “work together and remain united.”

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, the House Democratic members of Florida’s Congressional Delegation, who represent more than 4.4 million Floridians, called for an end to backroom negotiations on oil and gas drilling off of Florida’s shores.

All seven Florida House Democrats sent a letter to Delegation Chairman Clay Shaw, the other Republican members of the Congressional Delegation and Governor Jeb Bush.  The letter calls on the Delegation to unite in an effort to protect Florida’s coasts.
