WASHINGTON, D.C.—A $20,000 federal grant has been approved for use by the Greene County Partnership. 

            Congressman Bill Jenkins said Thursday the funding is provided by Rural Development, U. S. Department of Agriculture. 

            Jenkins said  the money will be used to assist in the development of a small business library.  The library will provide reference materials and access to computers and software for small business owners and entrepreneurs. 

            In addition, the grant will fund a study for the development of an incubator in Greene County. 

            Overall, the project will provide technical assistance and serve as a catalyst in stimulating economic development in the area, the congressman added.
